The other day I was talking to her about all the M8's that have to go back for modification. Poor guys, I said. "When does yours go back?" she replied. Hmmm. Does she know more than I realize?

Mine is like that. Only all my camerabodies are chrome - you have to give them a chance to act naive.

Wilfredo - what does the Good Book tell us about temptation again...?

Oh well... I knew I should have paid more attention in Sunday school.

Guess who's near the top end of Tottenham Court Road again today...?

Guess which shop no longer has a 60 Macro Elmarit-R in the window...

(The 35 f2 looks like it was sold this morning)

Played with an M8 for the first time whilst there too. Very nice indeed.

They have a waiting list of seven customers for them, 6 black, one silver, the ratio of which doesn't surprise me. Only £100 deposit (which is great - it's the balance that's the problem!)

In Palo Alto there is a retailer Keeble & Schuchat where I usually shop. They actually
have two stores one across from the other ( the first for new stuff, the second for used
equipment ). Aside from Leica they sell just about every brand I can think of, accessory,
lens, printer, studio equipment, repair, etc, etc.

It's very difficult to walk out of that store without seriously considering purchasing
something, either new or used.
