If one chooses the M7-style rewind crank for an A la Carte MP, will the top plate be taller, like the M7 or a couple mm shorter, like the MP or M6 classic?

My guess would be for the classic M4/M6/MP top.

The M6 TTL and M7 are slightly taller to accommodate the flash metering circuitry. As the MP doesn't have that, presumably the top plate should reflect that.

The plate will have the same height as a regular MP. It will have practically the same dimensions as a Classic M6 or M4.
