Default Google ads - do we have to click on them to generate revenue for the forum?

Just wondering whether their mere presence here (to which I do not object, btw) generates revenue, or whether that part relies on a click-through count.

If the latter, then I will happily click on each one, once a day, in a spirit of helpfulness, if not necessarily purchasing...

Only clicking generates revenue - so feel free to click ;-)

But don't go over the top - Google is very thin-skinned if someone is making click fraud...

Regards
Andreas

I was wondering the same. A little click once in a while will do no harm.

I've already clicked on our favourite camera shop: Sess-ops. I thought that was a lovely win win situation, income for the former, cost for them

I have noticed that the ads have all turned German on the International forum.

Is this deliberate? Just because you're through to the Quarter Finals?

Go to the root page, the home page, and they are on the left hand side.

They don't appear on the sub-pages though.

it does do harm i for one have to pay for poeple clicking on my adds with google and it cost me a great deal of money, but i do not understand why google is putting my adds for roller shutter repairs on this site which will be a subject i will bring up with google

please dont click on adds to generate monies for your club as its people like me that suffer by this i also run an internet forum and understand the need to have money for clubs { PLCUK } but that isnt the way to do it guys
