farnz Posted November 17, 2012 Share #6 Posted November 17, 2012 (edited) Congratulations to Jono especially and to Dan and Eckart for their excellent night shots and being worthy winners! Thanks too to Andy for organising. Jono, your choice of subject is definitely questionable and I feel sure you could have chosen better than that! (I can't even remember you taking your superb portrait.) Pete. Edited November 17, 2012 by farnz
jonoslack Posted November 17, 2012 Share #7 Posted November 17, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hah! It must have been the inspired subject which did it! Congratulations Pete for winning both challenges! Thank you everyone for voting for us. Well done to Dan and Eckhart and for great shots, and everyone else who managed to take some night shots. Lets face it, sitting in that nice bar and 'absorbing the "atmosphere"' was an enticing option! Roll on Wetzlar!
photolotse Posted November 17, 2012 Share #8 Posted November 17, 2012 Congratulations to Jon, Dan and Eckart - awesome photos! You have to keep in mind that these photos have been taken after enjoying a great evening at the Brewpub! My lense has been showing signs of distortion I haven't been aware of before @Andy: Could you please add the type of camera and lens used? Many thanks to the organizers of this competition. Looking forward to the 2013 challenge. Carsten & Dagmar

farnz Posted November 17, 2012 Share #10 Posted November 17, 2012 Andy, Another polite request: would it be possible (when you're able to find a spare moment of course!) to have a list of all the entries with entrants names for the day and night challenges please? Pete.
photolotse Posted November 17, 2012 Share #11 Posted November 17, 2012 I could, but I'm not sure if I know. Will have a look later Ooops, I've assumed that the same camera /lens combination as in the Day Challenge has been used. However, this might not be true at all.
