Hi

I recently called to Leica and asked them why they don't sell the actual 75/2.0 Sumicron in silver, and he anwerd that there is insufficent demand for it and recommended me to look for a 75/14 asph in silver ......as it is, as he said, a very good lens.

So ?

would be nice to have some more infos, because I definitvely prefer a silver version over a black one. If nothing helps, i will maybe go to the Zeiss 85/2.0, but i doubht they will produce it in silver.

The 75 Lux was always black, and was never ASPH. You should be careful if someone makes you an offer of one

No, the only other 75 made, the Apo-75 Cron Asph, was not made in silver either. If you want a good silver portrait lens, get the older 90 Cron. If you want a really sharp silver lens, look for the 90 Cron Asph.
