Default 5 red, 2 yellow

There will be more of this fascinating building once it's finished and I can get closer!

Thanks guys, in many ways it is quite a "conventional" building but it does have some novel features - those "holes" high up on the side wall for instance. Watch this space!

"Connect 4" - just in time for Christmas

Interesting details, Brian. Where is this? London, somewhere, I assume?

Quite right, Andy. Less than 1/2 mile from where I live, near to City Road. I pass it regularly and I'm waiting for the builders to finally clear away all their portacabins and get the street in front open again as I can 'see' some interesting angles to capture!

Thanks for the comments.

How nice of the architect to design holes for the birds top go in and out.

When I first saw this, and still now if I look a certain way, the holes clearly seem to be balls proud of the building rather than holes. Fun.

Best,

Mitchel

Brian,

I'm curious to see the rest of this building but in the meanwhile your abstract part of it made me laugh.

Will Alsop perhaps?

I see what you mean Michael, but in fact it was designed by Penoyre & Prasad Architects.
All will be revealed shortly!
