Default First Results- M6- 35mm summicron asph

The shot of a wall made out of, what I think is Honister slate outside Bradford Library (don't ask why Cumbrian slate outside a Yorkshire Municipal building). It was taken on FP4 and digitised using a friends Nikon Colourscan, a technology that I am not familiar with.

Like the texture and the light. You should be able to post a little bigger though, to allow the detail to come through.

Cumbrian slate for sure.

I'm the last person in the known universe to advocate colour photography in preference to monochrome but...... the one exception is ..... Cumbrian slate, which requires a certain combination of sunlight and wetness to bring out it's natural colours.

Home Rule for Westmerians.

Car Parts Gallery updated in anticipation of possible forthcoming exhibition; it'll probably turn out crap; again.

I totally agree and I am not sure why they chose to use it on a building in Bradford. having said that, sadly, Bradford center is a real mess at present. This was my first roll of film through my M6, in fact I was visiting the Cartier Bresson Exhibition at the National Museum of Photography and looking for subjects to test the camera with

Superb detail, texture, geometry, contrast, tonal range and tonal gradations.
