Default Lobby of Jewish Museum San Francisco

I love the angles here. I added canvas texture because the shot was not perfect but the lobby was worth showing. I think it works. Taken with a 12mm on the M8

Caryl -

Though I like the color, light and framing I don't think the canvas saves it, so I recommend going back for another shot, perhaps with a tripod, if they permit.

They do not even want cameras which is why I shot quickly and did not focus well. I will try again but not for a while. Thank you for your honest opinion. I wonder if i can fix it some other way. I shall try.

I started trying to fix it and got into painting. Here it is quite changed but you know where it started.

Caryl -

That's delightful, and a family portrait, too!

Regarding not being allowed to shoot. With my D2 where I'm not allowed to shoot (such as the Russian Church photos in the Paris gallery on our site. This also wroked well to get my nose in the way of a ceiling shot at Versailles, also on the site) I preset everything as much as possible, put it on fully automatice, hang the camera from the strap over my shoulder, stetch the strap tight for steadiness, aim my body, and squeeze the shutter button. Do a bunch of them.

Thank you so much Jaap and Des. I love to paint photos.
Actually i was looking over my photos and this is not the Jewish museau. It is the lobby of the Tower at the De Young Museum.
