Default The glass - in situ

Some may remember some special fritted glass that I had to check in southern Germany last year

These two images were taken in the factory

Well, the building is now practically complete, and here is a shot of the glass, in situ. The effect wasn't quite what was anticipated (or promised), but it does make for a more interesting facade than the norm.

Andy -

I do recall the original posts. Technically, all three are superb, and the angle on #3 is spot on. The only weakness is the product.

Andy,

I liked the pics then and I still do now - the poor building had a lot to live up to

To be fair, the building, and the glass, look much better than my photographs under these conditions can show.

I need to come back at the weekend, if the weather is good, when the light will be much better.

This building is actually beautiful, and worthy of its award nomination.

It wasn't Franz Mayer of Munich | Architectural Glass and Mosaics | was it?
