A fascinating old shop front. It appears to be a charming ruin, but there are clues that suggest it is not - the new flowers and clean linen in the upper windows, the modern doorbell and, on peeking through the rusty old keyhole, there is a sunny courtyard beyond, filled with spring flowers and domesticity.

I wonder, is this is a cleverly maintained artifice that in reality, forms the front entrance to someone's exclusive apartment in downtown Vienna?

On a technical point: These images, as posted here have lost their sharpness and intensity. This forum quite reasonably set a 224kb limit for the size of each image posted. However, I cannot master the resizing to maintain the image attributes I see in so many other images posted here (especially size, resolution and contrast). Can anyone advise me?
