Gerard -

I very much like the structural symmetry broken by the adorable little girl whose bright clothing both stand out and blend with the scene. It also looks like your purchase of the 19 mm lens was a wise idea.

awesome detail... very moving and the girl helps to break the symmetry of it all.

Gérard,
This is a good shot. The only thing I'd like to see was a little more sky over the lamppost and the entire foot and a litle of the street. Not much juat enough to give the pst a little more room.

Well done.

Carl, you are right.

Just two issues: first, I was anxious not to loose the little child, so I did not take time to frame the picture more precisely.
Second: the lens was a 19 mm and of course the vertical lines were not parallel. I took the opportunity to work on the lens correction filter in PSCS2, and to make the vertical lines look really vertical, I had to sacrifice either the top or the foot of the lamp post.

Thank you for your critics. I always learn more from critics...

Cheers
Gérard
