They started tearing down the sections. The wreckage is being replaced by the same kind of cheap material and rudwe architecture. Where the buildings do not get finished in time, containers are the home of scientists and their teams. Can you believe this? Summicron R 50 mm on Canon 5DMKII Welcome, dear visitor! pauledell Posted June 24, 2014 Share #2 Posted June 24, 2014 Iduna, A fine series. As I reflect on your narrative, I get a chilled feeling like we are watching one of those movies about the end of civilization. Big buildings standing abandoned and nothing left. Iduna Posted June 24, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted June 24, 2014 Paul, yes, exactly. The "nothingness" is home for our science and education and we can ask ourselves where or values are gone if we are not able to give them a suitable representative shell. Database, media, etc are of volatile character and so are the containers and here we can even say that there is a balance. But what an unbelievable wastage of money even to repeat the same mistakes from 50 years ago and cause a lot of trouble for those departments which have to work there and rack their minds in terms of future achievements. I have another series showing the wreckage of the kitchen building....
