Very good control of exposure here, John.
My next door neighbour used to be Canon at Chester Cathedral, so I do feel some very tenuous connection with the place - but, I have yet to take a decent shot. I find the local sandstone to be a bit oppresive, but you have captured it very well here. Nice one.

After seeing your picture, I wish I could go sit in that chapel at this very minute . It looks like a great place to go sit in quiet and slowly enter the Presence.

I think this is like the photographic experience. I am something of a contemplative photographer, seeing things most people pass by. I think many of us can relate to this.
