Michael,
Not Paddington; I took a meandering route from Paternoster Sq at the back of St Pauls, via King Edward St, past Bart's towards the Barbican and they are somewhere around there. To be honest, so much has changed in the 5 years since I worked around there, I got a bit lost!

I'll post some more.

Thanks,
Pete.

The building with the curved end is now known as City Point (used to be Britannic Tower - which was a fine modernist tower until they messed it around). Judging by the ties in the foreground I would guess that you took this from somewhere around the building that spans across London Wall. As I don't live far away I may be down that way today and see if I can get some other views of City Point.
