Default Blue wall

As in many places around the Mediterranean Sea, blue tint is used to minimize reflections of sunlight on whitewashed walls. Sometimes, people painted only doors and window sills.
Castell de Cabres, Castellon Province, Spain / R 6.2, Vario-Elmar 35-70, Velvia 100 / Thanks for looking.

Marc

there are wonderful textures in this picture. It is interesting how, very often, incorporating numbers or signs into a photograph seems to add significance. It is something I am fond of myself.

Marc,

very nicely captured tonality. I too am a bit of a numbers freak.

John & John :-)

Thanks for kind comments.
The matter of numbers, or other signs is something I like to include in this kind of pictures.
The same happens with a tiny human figure in a landscape.
Or even the light in a lighthouse photograph.
Or a pawprint in the sand of a beach.
It's the point with human presence, as a reference point.
Thanks for looking and comment.

Nicely found. The substance of your subjects comes through well through your presentation of them.

Thanks, Tuna
Some pictures don't need any comment; others, however, yes win with a context where situate them.
