Unsuitable ads in side bars

I have deleted the thread re the unsuitable ads in side bars, because as someone pointed out, the thread itself seems to be attracting them.

As always, if you drop a PM to Andreas, or any of the Mods, with the address of the linked webpage, they can be added to the "ban list".

It won't work, as long as this specific forum member has googled any "unsuitable" keyword, Google will tag him as a person of interest. The ads will keep comin' to a PC or Mac on his desktop.

Maybe I'm simply lucky... but in the forum the only advertising I catch is of well known and decent dealers ("Gordy camera strap" is the most porno... bondage-prone... )

You see, Google is smart enough to know that you're in the medical industry. Perhaps you should make it a recommendation to your patients? LOL

Seriously guys, you don't need to google Volvo to see the Volvo ads, anything automobile related, Google might think that you're in the market for a car, then Volvo pays to have their ads delivered.

Keywords such as sexxxx, beauuty, weehdding, briides, etc could all possibly attract those "unsuitable" ads. How frequently are we talking about "weehdding" photography here? that could cause the problem.

I thought this deliberate mis-spelling is used to evade spam-filters. At the same time it let these e-mails appear even more shabby...

I didn't even realise there were side-bar ads in the forum until I read this thread! Give it a try if you find the ads too annoying
