Sounds like it's time for some people to come up with new Logo suggestions.

Good job Andreas, I like it. I agree with your conclusion - the M is a well-known Leica product. Porsche makes more than 911s, but it's that body-type everyone associates with it.

This is FINE GRAPHIC, James !!!... and an heavy allusion to FILM, that is something provocatory... what about a "L" old Leica style ?

Another probably stupid idea : keep the "film strip" but substitute the usual frame numbers with strings of 8 bits (say, 00101101)... allusive...
