Bazwell Posted February 14, 2013 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can someone please tell me where the ignore function is on this forum, if there is one? I have searched for information on this, but the only thing that came up was a post from 2006 in which the link to the ignore function actually takes me to the Leica home page! That is one page I have no desire to ignore, though I'm sure my bank account would be better for it.

Bazwell Posted February 20, 2013 Author Share #6 Posted February 20, 2013 Thanks for all the welcoming advice to someone new to the forum. Being relatively new to Leica, I have spent more time reading and learning here in the last few months than I have spent posting. The forum is a great resource as you all know, and there are lots of wonderfully generous people here who want to help one another out and share in our love of photography. However, like in every other forum there are always a few petulant or obnoxious people who have more interest in attacking others than in learning and sharing. I sometimes find it more pleasant to be able to use the "ignore" function on such folks so that I can focus on the positive when I'm trying to enjoy my spare time. Anyway, I was mainly asking the question because I couldn't find the answer myself after searching the forum for quite a while, and after finding one dead link where the info was supposed to be. Thanks to Pico for the quick reply. For the record, I haven't ignored anyone yet:o. Being new here I just wanted to know how the forum worked, and now I know...
k-hawinkler Posted February 20, 2013 Share #7 Posted February 20, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Welcome to the forum! I have never felt the need to use that function. And now that I know where it is I will not use anyway. Have fun here. I do and have learned so much.

earleygallery Posted February 20, 2013 Share #9 Posted February 20, 2013 Why not just use the 'ignore button' you were born with? Mine seems to work well enough on here as it does anywhere!
