Default How to post/embed an image

Sorry for the newbie question. I've done several searches to no avail. I know how to upload a picture to a separate website (in my case, flikr) and can attach a link but I would like to know how to have the image open in my thread (is that an imbedded image?) without going to the link.

Thanks

There used to be a really helpful thread giving guidance on how to do it, but I can't find it at the moment.

I will do a search.

Welcome to the forum, btw!

It's here

I look forward to seeing your photographs!

(You don't need to host them on Flickr, by the way, you can upload them directly to this server)

Thanks Andy! I look forward to contributing but it will probably take me a while to post anything worthwhile...

You can also use this.

no space

You will get unlimited bandwidth if you're subscribed to flickr at a reasonable price.
It also work for photobucket which is more cross link friendly.

I've tried this, using the dialog boxes, but can't make it work. Yes, we need a sticker for that one—lots of new people have come in with the M8. Including me!
