Hi
I have the D3 and I also have a couple of nikon DSLRS and although it took a little getting used to at first I find that I reach for the D3 with its kit lens first every time.
I also subsequently got the panasonic version of the D3 with a different lens on it and that is a good camera also.
I have a D2 which is a very good camera but different to the D3.
As I said before the D3 took a little getting used to but now it is so easy to use.
It is a solid and reliable camera to use and if you can get it at a good price then go for it.
