Fifth since I read this forum I see 2 kind of readers / writers. The one who say no way I'd spend US$ 5000 on a camera.... I can hardly understand why they keep coming here and give opinion about a product they will never buy nor use. And on the other hand, people who are willing to spend or have spent US$ 5000 on an M8 and they see as acceptable to do what they have ALWAYS done in the past... USE FILTER

Fourth: What is this obsession with IR capabilities. Been in the business for 22 yrs, never sold a single IR image to a magazine (go to your newstand, how many IR images will you find in the magazines....how about..none.. )
Fifth: I do not know a single professional leica user who uses UV filters. We have NEVER done it in the past and don't see why we should start doing it now.
