Good point, I forgot to mention that - the APDOO has the cupped fitting for screwmount Leica shutter releases. The OTZNO will convert it to the standard M release. I don't have an APDOO in the office
so, can't check it but, does it not have an adjustment that sets up the length of the plunger's travel?
However, I think the OP has a problem with the APDOO's not working period - once that is fixed, adjustment may be attempted.
