Guy, you are right about the workarounds. I have been using computers since the dark ages, so I know workarounds, believe me. I just thought the tone in the post implied that people who knew what they were doing could make it work, and those who couldn't were, well, just a little dim.
I definitely could make it work in a subset of situations, but I just couldn't justify the time and expense in finding workarounds when I have a completely working system right now that does not have this limitations. I am sincerely grateful to those of you who are on the bleeding edge here, and I will certainly benefit from your work in six months or a year when they get this thing firing on all cylinders.
