I have been using my R8 / DMR conbination for nearly a year now. I agree that the firmware version 1.1 contains bugs, but I only found them during my brief 'play time' with the camera. During my regular use of the camera I never 'enter the bug(s) area'. If you consider that your DMR is not functional then I am happy to make you an offer to purchase your DMR, as I am sure I will get a cheap deal from you.

The results I am obtaining from my functional DMR are stunning, and yes I have tried the non German made 'competition'. With this in mind I consider the cost / performance of the DMR a bargain.

My DMR batteries are now charged ready for a corporate job to be done tomorrow. I can't wait, I love using it!
