I thought that it was some while back.
I have old photos of a local (small) lake and accounts of the "annual skating competitions"; as far as I can remember (I'm 57
) this lake has only frozen enough for skating on 3 or 4 occasions in my lifetime. Last week-end it had about 15mm ice. Global warming/climate change???
If so, hardly a new event.
Any more shots?
