Strobist by Dave Hobby. It's all about off camera flash. I bet that after reading the site, the percent of shots with flash increases dramatically.
M8 does not have synch ports, but I have tried using various radio triggers i.e. Pocket Wizard and Skyports, they all work with the M8.
