They put extra body cap! 
MMMM I remember When I sent Contax G2 for service years ago it was returned to me without any finger print or oil mark or anything extra in the camera.
Standard is definitely lower than JAP maker. Sorry....
BUT I love German camera!

This is interesting. What did you send your M8 in for? Calibration? Would be interesting to find out.
