Hello William,

Thanks for taking the time to reply. No tripod. When I shoot macros with the D-Lux 3 set to manual focus I hold the joy-stick in place which gives me a blown-up window. Then I try to snap the shutter at this exact distance......usually it takes me three or four tries to get it right.....
