OK - can I make a start?
I am planning a walk in the Lake District with some friends (not sure how many can make it yet - probably just me and the dog
) on Saturday 15th July. I am hoping that the R8 will be back from its jollies by then, but we will see. If not, I will have to make do with the M2. So, no hardship really.
The plan is to meet at Brotherswater and walk up to Angle Tarn, coming down with views over Ullswater. This is alleged to be the best view in the Lake District, but not having walked up there myself as yet, I cannot confirm.
I am not sure if Pete Taylor or Andy Whysall or any other "Northerners" have turned up here yet, but this is an open invitation for anyone here to join me / us.
