Default Re: What's it worth? -Leica II

It is not a scarce camera; over 36000 were made between 1932 and 1948. Here are some used camera dealers' websites where you might find some typical dealer prices for both the camera and the lens. If you are selling, best not to expect to receive anywhere near typical dealer selling price ... they can sit on dealers' shelves for months before finding buyers unless in exceptional cosmetic and functional condition. Some dealers sell on commission basis eg 20% ... and you could try Ebay ... but if it has not been used for ages then would be advisable to ascertain functional condition and put a film through it to check results . Cameras of this age could have several possible faults eg shutter tapering and inaccurate shutter speeds ... cloudy viewfinder ... less than perfect lens optics (cloudy or scratched) ... light leaks.
