The great irony of whether an L1 is a Leica , or a D3 is a Panasonic.....
or is a D2 a Panasonic, or an LC1 a Leica

If i stick Velvia, Fuji, Kodak, or Ilford film into a film "Leica M", the photo is Leica shot photo.....why ...predominantly because of the glass. However the images will appear different because of the acetate, the film processing technique, and the brand of enlarger lens, paper processing technique and the chosen paper.

But in today's digital camera world we can stick a "Leica" designed lens on a Canon, Olympus, Panasonic or Leica and end up with........an image.... shot by which manufacter's lens...?
