Thanks, Ivan... I posted it mainly for this, for me, was one complete example of how really this damned Digital Technology can sometime, effectively, allow you to take a pic that you couldn't have done with film (or, to be precise, not so quickly and with such simple equipment) :
- The ambient light was very low, hadn't tripod... 640 ASA AND -2 EV to have a decent time (1/30) - exposure corrected in Lightroom...
- The ambient light was also of "ambiguos" color... mix of sunny windows (not at all "white") and incandescent lamps : shoot "daylight", then found a good °K compromise in LR...
- I couldn't get a good front position... and the subject's basement was also elevated 3 m about respect to the camera... 28 mm turned a little upside...bleah.. convergent lines... but in PS found a decent adjustement.
... and, of course, 3 or 4 shots without worrying of throwing away film...
I felt a kind of satisfaction... digital won't make me a better photog (no technology can do it) but, at the eand, IS a step onward,
