Default Early Industry

Just finished editing a new gallery of photos shot during a weekend stay in the Peak District, focussing on the early Mill town industries of Derbyshire, which sparked the Industrial Revolution in England. Most photos are taken inside the "Working textile factory museum" at Mason Mills. All are shot in black and white on Leica cameras and usually in low light with wide open apertures.

Most on the the M8 with Nockton 35mm f1.2 - this was when I discovered what a great lens this can be wide open in low light situations.

A few of the others are shot on an old M2 with 50mm summicron f2 lens and 400 ISO film

Here are a couple

M8 - 35mm Nockton f1.2

M2 - 50mm Summicron f2 - Neopan 400

If you have a minute please do check out the whole gallery at:

Thanks
