Well, you already know what I think.
Mine has only failed to proceed twice, once on the day I bought it and last year when the clutch actuating arm broke- crappy Ford part.
My friend bought his S4SE new in '68 and his has only given up three times, all minor faults fixed at the roadside. It's about looking after them.
Having said that, mine will probably croak tomorrow but ten other forum members will be able to tell you about it.
