...seems to me that it would make it behave just like a film M. Of course as soon as it was implemented it would only be a matter of time before the first "Do you leave your M8 cocked or uncocked?" thread.
Seriously, I could see it being implemented in practical terms as recock only when you remove your finger from the shutter release.
