Good to hear that there are alternatives to getting a machined SNHOO copy. Please let us summitar users know how this goes.
By the way, are you going to have Mr. Goldberg cut a grove into it so the Leica clip-on lens hood would fit properly. Apparently, from reading a recent photonet thread, SK Grimes does this upon request:
