I have more or less given up trying to find an SNHOO Summitar lens to e39 filter adapter. S K Grimes have offered to make me one for a reasonable price ($65) but I have to tell them the exact specifications I need. The e39 side of the adapter is easy, as that is just a normal female parallel sided 39mm diameter x 0.5mm pitch thread. However does anyone know for certain, the correct technical specifications of the male tapered filter thread, which will screw onto the front of the Summitar 50. I need the maximum and minimum diameters, the thread pitch and the taper angle. I will also ask at Solms when I am there on next Monday, as one of the older guys might remember.
