Pete, I'm blaming you for this... Ever since I handled your mint example of this lens at the Chinese New Year get together I've been hankerin' for a Canon 50mm f1.2 of my own...
This spotless example arrived during the week, and fits SO nicely on my M7
I shall try it out this weekend, and most likely take it to Seville next weekend.
