LEICA CARRYING STRAP

LEICA M8 BLACK LEATHER HALF CASE

It ruins the vinyle covering and rubs marks unduly on the body.

I have all 3 cases for M7 and M8 : Luigi's, Kameralader's, Leica's.
Luigi's are the fanciest, with all those colors and rich leather, plus a rugged artisan's feel.
And the man is fun to deal with.
Kameraleder's have the finest leather and craftmanship. I discussed with George Elanjian :
his case designer is an artist who works for Hollywood, making gloves for actor's costumes,
and it shows. The seams, the cut, everything is high precision.
I bought from him a full case which is very tight around the camera, and very small indeed,
adding no bulk to the body.
The only glitch is George is not as well organized as Luigi, having a day work.
But it's worth it — and I should add the weak dollar adds to its appeal : half-case new for
180 $ (120 €), full-case 320 $ (210 €), it goes (almost) cheap.
