They used to have financial problems, but thankfully, these days are over. That Leica left their customers without product support is simply untrue. this is really seen through your very naive eyes!
The last FW uodate for the DMR did NOT bring features a lot of us were waiting for, like SDHC support, improved WB (like in the M8 today) etc.
So actually this FW 1.3 pissed lot of customers off. And some took the decision to sell this expensive piece of s.... before it looses even more value.
So if your requirements are as low that you can live with the DMR as it is today without any further support, then ok, but lot others are not willing to play these strategies.
And this should be understood and not tried to be played down again and again.
