At the same time i thought the built-in tripod screw a good idea for you don't have to put the camera out of the case using a tripod. Unfortunately this doesn't work. When you want to screw out the tripod you unscrew the camera from the case, so you have to pull out the camera and work with a gripper to seperate the tripod from the case.
Well, may be an issue for a Luigi's update scheme...

Hi "UliWer". I am sorry that you had problems with my special SS "flush" Tripod screw of your case. BUT, it was enough to ask me how to better use it, avoiding to experience again the described problem ! In fact, I would have answered to (please):
1- Fit the camera in the case, closing the special SS screw with a certain strenght. Not exceeding, but well thight.
2- Fit now the possible Tripod (head) screw in the case SS screw, taking care to thight well it, too, BUT LESS STRONGLY that the SS screw of the case !
That way, be sure that when you'll want to remove the tripod, you will successfully remove (unscrew) the tripod head screw, NOT the SS case screw...
The same must be done with ANY other case screw, with the lone difference that MY screw, being a "flush" one, is not visible on his sides...
Hoping to have been of some help, thank you again, and ciao to all ! Luigi
