I have been quite surprised by that lens; I don't remember offhand whether I used it for the Faith Challenge, but I have tried it both on LTM and LBM and it works beautifully. It did need a good cleaning when I got it as it had not been used for many years and the focussing ring was very hard, gummy, but when after it came back, it has now that smooth, firm feeling of precision made instruments.
