Andy - I am not so sure about the gas-guzzlers scenario. Cars have improved their consumptuion dramatically over the least 20 years. Now there are an ever growing number of scientists who say that Al Gore is completely wrong - surprise, surprise, - and that we are entering a period of global cooling when we shall need every ounce of man-made CO2 we can produce.
