I'm sure it is an acquired taste. Does one
need a Leica a lens -- for this or anything else? Almost surely not. Would be a shame to reserve them only for when needed! I used a Minolta film scanner (a Scan Dual II - rather old now). But actually the scans seem to have come out fine.
Carsten -- good to see your pictures. The M8 produces much clearer and sharper images, but actually the film doesn't compare too badly. It was pretty dark by that time.
