Thanks for your comments and interest.

I don't know what effect an ancient screw mount lens would impart. It was taken with the CV 50/2 Heliar which is retro in that it is retractable but I believe the glass is a modern design. Having said that, in my limited experience it gives a somewhat soft look.

My aim was not a record shot but a more abstract, painting-like look. Here's another go -
