Sandy, I was thinking exactly the same thing when I read this today. I'm sure the software comes into play too, but hopefully Leica can make a big improvement for their next generation of cameras. I use the M8 whenever possible, but sometimes I will resort to the 1Ds2 for use with high ISOs.
