I like the grip on the Luigi case and the flat bottom so you can sit it on a table. Aside from the aesthetics which are very nice it makes the camera much easier to handle and grip at the cost of some added hassle when changing cards and batteries.

It also makes the camera look like a relic from the 50's to casual observers. I find people cut you more slack with Rollei TLR's, old folders and other antique looking cameras they seem to be much less threatening and usually elicit a smile rather then a suspicious glare.
