At £3250 it still looks like a very good deal compared to the DMR, because you get the whole camera, not just a digital back. It puts it in among the higher end SLRs from Canon and Nikon, which is about right, but significantly below digital "medium format" offerings from Hasselblad and Mamiya. Provided that the build quality and image quality live up to the Leica name (and there is no reason to suppose they won't), the only issue they will have to deal with over time will be the 10MP sensor resolution, which will be perceived as outdated quite quickly. As we all know, the megapixel race is to a large extent a load of old hooey, but it can kill sales. This is what happened to the Olympus E1, which is now being remaindered at less than half price, despite still being a perfectly good camera.
