One of them is an unused FSEOO with a black screw. The seller told me that he has bought the filter from a Swedish men who had bought many Leica parts from the Swedish army. I have never seen an A36 filter with a black screw, so I think that this filter was intended to use with the Leica IIIF Black Edition from the Swedish army. Can you tell me if I am right or not, is it a very special filter? Regards, Kobus van Leer" Hoping that Gunnar or Lars can makes some report about Welcome, dear visitor! telewatt Posted April 2, 2013 Share #2 Posted April 2, 2013 The first thing I notice, the box can not fit. it lacks the GmbH and the name should be written out "Ernst Leitz" and the typeface is different. Regards, Jan

samiba Posted April 3, 2013 Share #4 Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) Hi Jan, I cannot comment on the black screw but these boxes were manufactured by Leitz, I do have several of them. Maybe the inscription varied over the time. Kind regards, Michael PS: maybe boxes only produced for export purposes? Welcome, dear visitor! telewatt Posted April 3, 2013 Share #6 Posted April 3, 2013 The early boxes were with "E.Leitz Wetzlar Germany" inscribed. The later with "Ernst Leitz Wetzlar GmbH Germany". The Swedish Military IIIF is from 1956. Therefore, the box also have the new label, such as the camera and the filter. regards, Jan

telewatt Posted April 7, 2013 Share #12 Posted April 7, 2013 (edited) Welcome to the forum! I would now not make the party pooper, but I have seen so many "black paint" parts that just do not fit, so I have a certain amount of skepticism...sorry for it... What would interest me now, what is on the box ... only "Leica", or that what was written above ... what I have noticed, in the black screws on the boxes is only "Leica" in cursive, except for your photo, JC show us.. regards, Jan Edited April 7, 2013 by telewatt
