The half-case can also be useful as protection for yourself, and not necessarily the camera - in a very cold weather !
Thatīs what i use a half-case for. Whenever itīs warm enough, i rather not use any case. I feel the ergonomics of an M-camera is best without any case. Just a personal opinion, of course.
